Red sweet wine for excellence.....🍷

Recioto Della Valpolicella is a red sweet Verona wine that was so named because only the ripest 'ears' ('recia' is Italian slang for ears 'orecchie') of each bunch of grapes were selected to make the wine that were dried on mats after picking. This process is concentrating the flavours and sugars.The wines on the nose remind a LBV port, but in the palate has a round, velvety, intense, and un fortified taste.

I love pairing this wine with hard cows milk cheese or tiramisu..... even though is good to enjoying sip by sip in front of a fireplace in a cold evening and your partner on its own 🍷
