Taleggio is a semisoft, washed-rind, smear-ripened Italian cheese that is named after Val Taleggio in Lombardy region . This cheese made from cow’s milk , it has a thin crust and a strong aromav, slightly nutty flavour.

Taleggio is a table cheese perfect for eating on its own or added to dishes such as the popular Risotto al Taleggio.

My perfect way to taste this cheese is preparing a plate with :

1.endives salad🥬 ( just washed and divided the leave, keeping only the crispy one;-)

  1. Cut mild pears in cubs ( better without skin:-))

  2. Thin slices of taleggio( slightly warm has more texture)

  3. Crunch walnuts ( on top of those salad leaves)

It is a crunchy, delicate, elegant snack, or starter;-)

..... yours?!?!?
